Title: Millennium - Volume 3 - The Queen in the Hall of Drafts - Stieg Larson - book
Summary :
Readers of the first two volumes of the Millennium trilogy should skip the following lines if they prefer to discover for themselves this third volume of a series that has quickly become a cult classic. Readers of the second volume hoped for it, and their dream has been granted: Lisbeth is not dead. However, this is no reason to cry victory: Lisbeth, in very bad shape, will remain stuck in the hospital for weeks, physically unable to move or act. She is even more trapped because various accusations are weighing on her that have caused her to be placed in solitary confinement by the police. A major problem: her father, who hates her and whom she hit with an axe, is in the same hospital, in slightly better condition than she is... There is, moreover, no reason for the underground activities of a few renegades from Säpo, the security police, to cease. To remain hidden, these shadowy figures will undoubtedly have an interest in eliminating those who hinder them or who know. As for the forces of good, we can count on Mikael Blomkvist, who, on the one hand, loves Lisbeth very much but cannot meet her, and, on the other hand, is starting to concoct a nice scoop on state secrets that could, at the same time, clear Lisbeth forever. Mikael can certainly count on Armanskij's help; it remains to be seen whether he can still trust Erika Berger, now editor-in-chief of a competing publication.
