Title: Disintegration - Emmanuelle Richard - book
Summary :
It talks about dreams and reality, about what we would like and what we see ourselves becoming. It talks about shame and place, about odd jobs and impossible cohabitation, because through humiliation there is no longer any neutrality possible. It talks about the feeling of being the Other and about contempt that ends up being reversed. So anger, until then fuel, ends up blooming into a flower of carnivorous hatred, and hatred of the poor turns into hatred of the rich.
Emmanuelle Richard has published two novels: Lightness in 2014 and For the skin in 2016, which earned her the Anaïs Nin Prize and the Marie Claire Prize for Women's Novels. She lives in Paris.
“The electric novel of a precarious youth. A tense fiction, with jubilant writing.”
