Harry Stoner is hired by Cindy Dorn to find her friend Mason Greenleaf. They have lived together for several years, but before living with a woman, Mason shared the life of a man. His body is found in a hotel room. Suicide by a mixture of alcohol and barbiturates. He also bears signs of beatings.
