All my life I have been lucky, very lucky, perhaps even too lucky when I think of all those who have no other choice but to face the grayness of a desperate and, often, painful daily life. It is not that I have been spared trials. I have had my share of professional and personal failures. I even have the impression that I have sometimes had to pay a high price for success and notoriety. But never, ever, have I known boredom. For as long as I can remember, I have been able to live with passion, meet often extraordinary people, and confront myself with events that will be remembered by history. Passion and the need for commitment have always been present at the heart of my identity. Deep down, if I do not know the "why" of this inclination so anchored in me, at least I have had the desire to explain the "how". It took me a long time to embark on this path of truth that I want to be as sincere as possible, even if I know that it will, by nature, be relative.
