On December 12, 1531, the image of the Virgin Mary appeared before witnesses on the tunic of Juan Diego, an Aztec Indian. Four centuries later, scientists discovered, in the eyes of this Virgin, the reflection of the witnesses of the apparition.
Embarrassed by the disputes over interests that arose around the canonization of Juan Diego, the Vatican tasked Nathalie Krentz, an ophthalmologist who believed in nothing, with disproving the miracle.
