Camilla Läckberg, born on August 30, 1974, is the author of five crime novels featuring Erica Falck, each set in Fjällbacka, a fishing port on the west coast of Sweden that had its heyday but is now in decline. In Sweden, all of her books have been bestsellers in recent years, alongside Stieg Larsson's Millennium.
