Summary :
Mid-Edo period. A region has become a favorite gathering place for martial arts practitioners. The name of this region is Unabara, "The Den of Demons." Washitzu Naosata, the lord of Unabara, decides to organize a gigantic martial arts competition to find out who is the strongest. The one of his 31 sons who can find the strongest martial arts expert will become his successor. Washitzu Naoyoshi, the lord's 27th son, sets out in search of the legendary Kurogane Jinsuke, said to be capable of massacring 1,000 martial arts practitioners. But Kurogane Jinsuke seems to have disappeared, and Naoyoshi meets Gama, the last student of the Ogame school. It is ultimately Gama who accompanies the 27th son of the lord of Unabara to the Grand Competition. A story full of promise and battles.
