Summary :
In 1969, Minaya, a 25-year-old student, discovered the posthumous manuscript of a certain Jacinto Solana, shot dead in 1947 by Franco's police. Eager to investigate the poet's life and disappearance, he went to Magina, a small town where Solana wrote his work and where Manuel, Minaya's uncle, still lives. By questioning the few survivors of the civil war and with the help of Ines, whose lover he quickly becomes, he brings to light Magina's past and enigmas that were thought to be forever buried in the silences of memory.
