It is finally to say that the French government was perfectly aware of the atrocities perpetrated against its nationals without intervening other than through vain protests. Through this study, the Manichaeism resulting from the Algerian War, between the \"good\" on one side and the \"bad\" on the other, no longer applies. The analysis in this work allows us to give back a story to people, to families who were deprived of it.
